What Type Of Towel Do You Need To Make Animal Shapes?

When it comes to making towel animals, the type of towel you use can make a big difference in how easy it is to fold and shape. While you can certainly use any kind of towel you have on hand, some types of towels are better suited for this purpose than others.

One popular option for making towel animals is to use Belem’s cotton towels. Our cotton towels are absorbent, soft, and durable, making them a great choice for a variety of different uses. The soft and flexible nature of the towels allow the shapes to fold and roll over, which makes it easy to create a variety of different animal shapes.

How to Make a Towel Swan

A towel swan is a classic towel animal that's perfect for displaying on your bed or as a decorative touch in your bathroom. Here's how to make one:

  1. Start with a Belem bath towel: Choose a white bath towel for your swan, and fold it in half diagonally.
  2. Roll the towel: Starting at the wide end of the folded towel, tightly roll the towel until you get to the end.
  3. Create the head: Fold down the top of the rolled towel to create the swan's head. The head should be about a third of the length of the towel.
  4. Make the neck: Fold the head down and tuck it into the roll of the towel.
  5. Add the wings: Pull out the top layer of towel on each side of the swan's body to create the wings. The wings should be about halfway down the body of the swan.
  6. Create the tail: Fan out the bottom of the towel to create the swan's tail.
  7. Add the beak: Use a Belem washcloth or hand towel to create the swan's beak. Fold the towel in half diagonally, and then roll it up tightly. Tuck the rolled object into the head of the swan.
  8. Finish with the eyes: Use two 13x13 inched gray washcloths or 13x30 inched hand towels to create the swan's eyes. Fold each washcloth or hand towel in half diagonally, and then tuck them into the head of the swan.

And the process is complete! Your towel swan will look as luxurious and elegant as you wanted it to be! You can display it on your bed, in your bathroom, or anywhere else to make your mark!

How to Make a Towel Rabbit

A towel rabbit is a cute and playful towel animal that adds a touch of whimsy to your home. Here's the step-by-step process:

  1. Start off with a Belem bath towel: Choose a white bath towel for your rabbit, and fold it in half in a diagonal direction.
  2. Roll the towel: Starting at the wide end of the folded towel, keep rolling the towel tightly to get a good grip of the structure.
  3. Make the head: Fold the top of the rolled towel to create the rabbit's head. The head should be fit around the third of the length of the towel.
  4. Add the ears: Fold down the corners of the head to create the rabbit's ears.
  5. Don’t forget about the face: Use a Belem washcloth or hand towel to create the rabbit's face. Fold the towel in half diagonally, and then roll it up tightly. Then, tuck it into the head of the rabbit.
  6. Make the eyes: Use two 13x13 inched gray washcloths or 16x30 inched hand towels to create the rabbit's eyes. Fold each washcloth in the same diagonal direction in half, and tuck it into the corner to make the eyes.
  7. Create the tail: Use a small white washcloth or hand towel to create the rabbit's tail. Roll the towel up tightly, and then tuck it into the back of the rabbit.
  8. Create the legs: Use two Belem white washcloths or hand towels to create the rabbit's legs. Fold each washcloth in half diagonally, and then roll it up tightly. Tuck the rolled washcloths into the bottom of the rabbit.

And that’s that! Your towel rabbit is ready to be showcased!
